Christmas is the festival which is being celebrated in India regularly and has gained popularity among us in past few years. The famous Santa Claus can be seen on Christmas on our various cities markets and malls. India is a country of different religions and festivals and we have made the Christmas also as one of our own festival. Kids enjoy decorating the Christmas tree and playing with Santa in the month of December.

The market places are all larger-than-life with glitter and decorations and people masked as Santa follow customers, particularly children with gifts in the big cities. Decorated and glittering Christmas trees are all over the place.

For the devoted, the celebrations begin on Christmas Eve . Carols are sung and various churches organize the midnight Mass. Christians dressed in new clothes attended the service on Christmas Day. After the morning worship is over, people gather in their homes for the family get-togethers.

Goa's famous for its Christmas celebrations as it has maximum number of Christian community people living. People from various cities and countries come to Goa to enjoy the Christmas here. All the resorts and hotels in Goa are highly occupied and make their room or packages prices double than the season price. However then too one can view the over crowded Goa enjoying the beach parties and different theme parties of hotels enjoying on the Christmas Eve.
